Donation

As you will notice on the sidebar, I have no shame. No, actually I have had requests as to whether there was anything that anyone could do to help out with Izaak and Doug. For the immediate future, Izaak and Doug will not be working, and it would really help them out if anyone was able to donate some money to offset their bills.

Doug had his first prescription filled yesterday and his bill was more than $400 after the insurance coverage. He will likely have extensive medication bills in the coming years. Kelly is investigating whether Social Security will help offset this cost, but for the time being they are paying all of these expenses out of pocket.

Izaak passed up any summer employment opportunities to sacrifice his kidney to Doug. He intended to pay off some accrued debt, and three days before the surgery his vehicle quit working.

If you click on the sidebar icon, you may send a paypal donation to Doug. You may specifiy the amount and to whom you are making the donation on that screen. If you would like to make a more sizable donation to Spring of Light, then you may also do that through paypal, but indicate that it is a donation to SOL so that Doug can properly generate your tax deduction information. Alternatively if you would like to send a card or donation directly to Izaak or Doug, please email me and I will send you their address.
