Google Local Calling

A while back I remember hearing rumors of Google’s business phone connect, but today I had the time to give it a test drive.  For any listing in Google’s local business directory, you can click on “call,” enter a phone number where you can be reached, and zap bang boom your phone rings and you are immediately connected to the businesses number.

The opportunity for running refrigerators and Seymour Butts are endless, but you better watch out because Google takes pranking very seriously

I am using local to advertise a project I am working on, and I hope to get a few auto connections.  This may be a nice feature to use on the website to connect browsers to our sales line.  If anyone has any info on that post a comment.  Otherwise I will research and update later.
