When you are stealing copper for livelihood your business prowess may already be questionable, but at ~$2.20 per pound can the ROI really be there to scale buildings and hork air conditioning units, break into power substations and cut the grounding cables loose, or scope construction sites for scrap wire.

Nearing $3.00 per gallon, gasoline may be a better bet, but OPEC has already cornered black market for petroleum.
