Since March 29, 2006, I have been running this blog.  I moved over from blogspot, so that I could have a little more control of my blog.  I got a dreamhost account, plopped down wordpress, and started doing my thing.

Of course, in the transition somehow I forgot to forward my page rank from Google.  For months I hung out, blogging away linking, getting linked, creating nifty widgets for high visibility, but no page rank.  I’ve even been boarded several times and instalinked once, but Google didn’t care.  I guess they were too busy supersizing their online efforts, and I was left to read, “Google’s measure of the importance of this page is (0/10).”

0 out of 10.  How freaking insulting.  That is worse than not even having a page because then at least Google couldn’t reflect your unimportance.  Maybe that would be a better measure, “Google’s measure of the un-importance of this page is (10/10).”  At least then I would feel like I was accomplishing something.

There was nothing that I could do about it.  Despite decent results for southern quotes, I could see no marked improvement in the page rank.

But folks I have news for you!  I am important.  Not too important, but not too unimportant either.  I am a 3, A THREE!  3 out of 10 is how Google now ranks me.  More important than all of the ones.  More important than all of the twos.  PEOPLE, I am a three.
